This Lotus and Caterham
Seven has been in continuous production since 1957. This International
Celebration will mark the 50th anniversary and will take place
on the weekend of 14th, 15th and 16th September
2007. We anticipate that this
will be the largest gathering of Sevens and Seven enthusiasts in history.
Events will be centred
on the Royal Norfolk Showground just outside Norwich. We have planned the following activities:
Friday 14th
September 2007
- Track
day
and AutoSolo events to be held at RAF Woodbridge in Suffolk. These
events are open to 21s and 11s as well as 7s! 20.08.07

- Informal
welcome party with a wide selection of food food available from the
on-site caterers between 6pm and 9pm and your first chance to sample
'Chapman's Best' in the bar which will close at 11pm.
- Block
bookings have been made with local hotels and guest houses.
- On
site camping for the whole weekend with modern shower and toilet facilities
Saturday
15th September 2007
- Early
morning blat with breakfast on Southwold Pier Click

day activities for the whole family at the Norfolk Showground
- Trade
stands selling a wide variety of items of interest to Seven Owners, an
ideal opportunity to stock up on parts, accessories and regalia.
- Demonstrations
and competitions throughout the day
- Unique
display of cars leading up to the Lotus Seven
- A
line-up of 50 cars showing the evolution of the Seven
- Concours

Sunday
16th September
- A
grand tour of Norfolk during the morning, featuring great driving
roads, a trip along the coast and breakfast at Sandringham, the
Norfolk retreat of Her Majesty the Queen Click

all day Sprint event at the Lotus test track.
- Camping
available for those wishing to leave on Monday or attend the Club
track day.
- Tour
of the Lotus factory at Hethel, a rare chance to see how Lotus cars
are manufactured, developed and tested. The Lotus factory

Monday 17th September
- Lotus 7 Club Trackday at Snetterton –
This is a normal Club trackday. Details will follow shortly here and
in Lowflying so please be patient but booking will be through the
normal club channels and not organised as part of the 50th
Celebrations. We are looking into providing Sunday night camping
at the Showground however, there are some security and Health and
Safety issues that we need to resolve first, we will let you know
if this is going to be possible soon.

cost of attendance will is modest and open to any owner of a
genuine Lotus Seven, Caterham Seven, Caterham 21, Lotus 11 and to all members of
the Lotus Seven Club. Full
