What is it ?
- The first Lotus 7 left the factory on the 7th September 1957 and is
still in production today as the Caterham 7. The celebration will mark the Golden Jubilee (1957-2007) of this famous
marque over the weekend of the 14th, 15th and 16th of September 2007 at the Norfolk
Showground and other venues near Norwich, England.
Why should I attend?
- This historic celebration is will be
the largest single gathering of
Lotus and Caterham 7 owners and enthusiasts ever seen in the world
attracting visitors from Europe and further afield. It will be an unequalled celebration of the car that we know and
love and an extravaganza of all things Seven.
Who can attend?
- The event is open to Lotus 7 Club members and their immediate family and
all other owners of genuine Lotus 7s, Caterham 7s, Caterham 21s, Lotus 11s
and their immediate
family. Children are also welcome. Entry to the event is
strictly by advanced ticket only and will not be open to the general public.
Where is it ?
- The main event is at the Royal Norfolk
Showground in Norwich, Norfolk. UK with other events at RAF Woodbridge,
Lotus cars, Snetterton Race Circuit and around some of the best blatting
roads in Norfolk and Suffolk. Click here

What else will there be to do?

If there is any time for off-site activities there is a host of interesting places to visit and things to see close by
and of course the city of Norwich for any “shopaholics”.
What about accommodation?

Camping and caravanning with modern shower and sanitary facilities will be available
on site for a modest charge, further details are available in the
accommodation section.
- Block booked reservations have been made at nearby Hotels, Guest Houses and B&B’s,
further details are available in the Accommodation section.
What happens should I become ill?

The St John Ambulance who will be able to render most forms of medical assistance will attend the
events and the modern Norfolk
and Norwich University Hospital is only 5 minutes should the worst
happen.

Showground has an in-store Pharmacy.
What will it cost?

Do I need to book the blats ?
- Full details of how to book the blats
is on the booking form. Firstly you will need to register your
interest on the main booking form. Following
receipt of your form and payment for the main event, we will send
your event tickets and the booking form for the Blats.
The forms will be issued on a first come, first served
basis.
Where
can I get cash ?
- Cash
machines as avaliable adjacent to the Showground at the Sainsbury
store. Sainsbury's is a short walk from the Showground.... it is not
necessary to drive !!!
Is
there a local supermarket?
- There
is a very large Sainsbury Superstore adjacent to the Norfolk Showground
offering a full range of services including Fuel, ATM's and a Pharmacy.
Tell
me about the on site catering ?
- We
have organised a wide selection of quality food at sensible prices
throughout the weekend, including breakfast, lunch, dinner and most
time in between. The menu is comprehensive but to give you an
indication, full English breakfast around £6.00, lunch from £2:50 for a baguette
or £3:50 for a jacket potato and filling. Vegetarian options are
available and a good selection of salads and fruit.

can I buy Petrol ?
- There
is a Sainsbury's petrol station adjacent to the Showground however a greater
selection can be found below :-
